Job 5:16 (NASB) "So the helpless has hope, And unrighteousness must shut its mouth.
 Job 13:15 (NASB) "Though He slay me, I will hope in Him. Nevertheless I will argue my
ways before Him.













Job 14:7-9 (NASB) "For there is hope for a tree, When it is cut down, that it will sprout
again, And its shoots will not fail. 8 "Though its roots grow old in the ground, And its stump
dies in the dry soil, 9 At the scent of water it will flourish And put forth sprigs like a plant.
Psalm 31:24 (NASB) Be strong, and let your heart take courage, All you who hope in the
LORD.
Psalm 33:18-19 (NASB) Behold, the eye of the LORD is on those who fear Him, On those
who hope for His lovingkindness, 19 To deliver their soul from death, And to keep them alive
in famine.

Psalm 119:116 (NASB) Sustain me according to Thy word, that I may live; And do not let

Psalm 146:5 (NASB) How blessed is he whose help is the God of Jacob, Whose hope is in
the LORD his God;

Romans 5:3-5 (NASB) And not only this, but we also exult in our tribulations, knowing
that tribulation brings about perseverance; 4 and perseverance, proven character; and
proven character, hope; 5 and hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been
poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.

Ephesians 1:18-20 (NASB) I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, so
that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His
inheritance in the saints, 19 and what is the surpassing greatness of His power toward us
who believe. These are in accordance with the working of the strength of His might 20 which
He brought about in Christ, when He raised Him from the dead, and seated Him at His right
hand in the heavenly places,
Colossians 1:5-6 (NASB) because of the hope laid up for you in heaven, of which you
previously heard in the word of truth, the gospel, 6 which has come to you, just as in all the
world also it is constantly bearing fruit and increasing, even as it has been doing in you also
since the day you heard of it and understood the grace of God in truth;
1 Thessalonians 5:8-9 (NASB) But since we are of the day, let us be sober, having put
on the breastplate of faith and love, and as a helmet, the hope of salvation. 9 For God has
not destined us for wrath, but for obtaining salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ,
1 John 3:3 (NASB) And everyone who has this hope fixed on Him purifies himself, just as
He is pure.
1 Peter 3:15 (NASB) but sanctify Christ as Lord in your hearts, always being ready to
make a defense to everyone who asks you to give an account for the hope that is in you, yet

Hebrews 6:19-20 (NASB) This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, a hope both sure
and steadfast and one which enters within the veil, 20 where Jesus has entered as a
forerunner for us, having become a high priest forever according to the order of
Melchizedek.
John 15:2 (NASB) "Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit, He takes away; and every
branch that bears fruit, He prunes it so that it may bear more fruit.

forth vegetation useful to those for whose sake it is also tilled, receives a blessing from
God;
 John 15:4-5 (NASB) "Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself
unless it abides in the vine, so neither can you unless you abide in Me. 5 "I am the vine,
you are the branches; he who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit, for apart
from Me you can do nothing.
Hebrews 6:8 (NASB) but if it yields thorns and thistles, it is worthless and close to being cursed,
and it ends up being burned.
 John 15:6 (NASB) "If anyone does not abide in Me, he is thrown away as a branch and dries
up; and they gather them, and cast them into the fire and they are burned.
Matthew 25:34-35 (NASB) "Then the King will say to those on His right, 'Come, you who are
blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. 35
'For I was hungry, and you gave Me something to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave Me something
to drink; I was a stranger, and you invited Me in;
 Matthew 25:38-41 (NASB) 'And when did we see You a stranger, and invite You in, or
naked, and clothe You? 39 'When did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?' 40 "The
King will answer and say to them, 'Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did it to one of
these brothers of Mine, even the least of them, you did it to Me.' 41 "Then He will also say to
those on His left, 'Depart from Me, accursed ones, into the eternal fire which has been
prepared for the devil and his angels;
