UGA requires 72 credit hours of coursework. For UGA, you must complete 9 hours of
“World Languages and Culture.” Courses that satisfy this requirement include: HIST
1111, HIST 1112, ANTH 1102, SOSC 1101, and foreign language courses. For more

Mercer requires 90 credit hours of coursework. All science labs that include a
laboratory component must be completed on campus (not online) and must be
majors’ courses. At least one elective course must focus on cultural diversity.
Examples of courses that fulfill this pre-requisite are: cultural anthropology, cultural
geography, world literature, world religions, women and gender studies, cultural
studies in specific languages.
South University requires 63-68 credit hours of coursework. For South, elective A
must be ENGL 2110, 2120, or 2130 and elective B must be PSCY 1101. All science
labs that include a laboratory component must be completed on campus (not online)
and must be majors’ courses. Biochemistry and Microbiology are currently not
required for admission. It is strongly recommended that a student does take
Microbiology.
PCOM requires 60 credit hours of coursework. Biochemistry and Microbiology are
currently not required for admission.
Summer Semester may be used for background coursework, such as MATH 1111 as an
introduction to pre-calculus, or for adjusting curricular requirements on an individual basis.
