Maureen Waterston
Vice President & Chief Human Resources Officer
Maureen Waterston is vice president and Chief Human Resources Officer at
Pratt & Whitney, a division of United Technologies Corp. (NYSE : UTX), a world
leader in the design, manufacture and service of aircraft engines and auxiliary
power units. She assumed her current role in October, 2015.
Maureen is responsible for Pratt & Whitney’s Human Resources activities
including talent, recruitment and development, employee and labor relations,
compensation, benefits, diversity and inclusion, covering the company’s global
workforce of approximately 33,000 employees.
Maureen began her career at United Technologies Corp. in 1997 at Pratt &
Whitney Canada. She held a number of positions of increasing responsibility
throughout Pratt & Whitney in Canada and the United States, including vice
president, Human Resources for Commercial Engines and Global Services. In
2009, she joined Otis Elevator South Asia Pacific & Gulf Area based in
Singapore, and was named vice president, Human Resources for Otis in 2012.
She then served as vice president, Human Resources for UTC Building &
Industrial Systems, the combined Otis and UTC Climate Controls & Security
business units.
Maureen holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from the
University of New Brunswick and a master's degree in industrial relations from
the University of Toronto.
