Postdoc position in quantitative bacterial cell biology and modeling, Yale University The HHMI laboratory of Dr. Jacobs-Wagner at the Microbial Sciences Institute at Yale University has a postdoctoral position for a physicist or computational biologist interested in leveraging his or her quantitative skills to address important questions in the emerging area of bacterial cell biology. Our lab uses a multidisciplinary approach that combines quantitative microscopy with genetics, biochemistry, biophysics and modeling to study the spatial and temporal mechanisms involved in bacterial multiplication. We are particularly interested in candidates with a strong background in quantitative analysis and modeling. Experience in single-cell fluorescence microscopy, bacterial genetics or MATLAB is a plus. Information about our lab and publications can be found at http://www.yale.edu/jacobswagner/ To apply, please send a CV, cover letter and contact information for three professional references to Dr. Christine Jacobs-Wagner (christine.jacobs-wagner@yale.edu).
