Rancho Santiago Community College District: Santiago Canyon College and University of Southern California Transfer Advisement Sheet for the Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration Effective Fall 2007 – Summer 2008 Applications for admission to USC’s Marshall School of Business can be submitted after completing at least three semesters of college work and 30 transferable units as well as the courses listed below. Admission is competitive; students with an overall GPA of 3.6 and grades of “B” or better in the courses required for admission will have an advantage in the admissions review process. Students who wish to transfer to USC as a Business major must complete the required courses listed below. Principles of Calculus 2 ECON-203 ECON-205 MATH-118 ECON 121 ECON 120 MATH 150 ENGL 102 or 102H or 103 or 103H or PHIL 110 *Completion of Santiago Canyon College’s Math 180 or 180H (USC MATH-125 Calculus I) will waive the USC MATH-118 equivalent General Education Information: Please refer to the articulation agreement for a detailed list of general education requirements. Successful completion of two accounting courses (ACCTG 101 and 102 or ACCTG 101H and 102H) allows registration in BUAD 305x. ACCTG 101 and 102 or ACCTG 101H and 102H will transfer as elective credit. If you do not complete the two semesters of accounting prior to entering USC, you would enroll in BUAD 250ab and take the two semesters of accounting at USC. Admission into the Leventhal School of Accounting is granted through the Marshall School of Business. Prospective accounting majors must receive grades of “B” or better in both ACCTG 101 and 102 or ACCTG 101H or 102H.
