We took breaks to play fun games and had meaningful conversations with our sisters. “Paint the Town Pink” was a relaxing event to catch up with each other and strengthen our bond in Phi Mu. “At the end of the day, we looked at our paintings and realized no two were the same,” said Kelsey Thomas. “This reminded me of a past Big/Lil theme ‘Individually Unique, Together Complete.’ I was so happy to be part of this and I can’t wait to grow more with my sisters this spring!” February 2014 Spring Bid Day: We Picked the Phinest! We appreciate our Phi trainer, Dylan Dean and her assistants, Hannah Hunter and Brietta Ammons for their hard work! Epsilon Nu welcomed seven new Phis to the chapter this month with a “We picked the Phinest” Bid Day event. The evening was complete with bouquets, gardening decor and flower crowns! We are excited to welcome them into our strong bond while they begin to learn the meaning, spirit and reality of Phi Mu. February 2014 Membership Retreat We were honored to have our Internal and External Membership Chairs, McKenna Young and Kelli Hadrava represent Epsilon Nu at National Headquarters this month for the Phi Mu Membership Retreat. They spent the weekend learning about what it takes to lead our chapter through a successful recruitment and were able to meet and learn from some of the largest Phi Mu chapters in the U.S. We are blessed to have these talented women on our recruitment team and we can’t wait to see what skills they bring to Formal Fall Recruitment! Phi Mu Valentines Epsilon Nu participated in a Phi Mu collegian Valentine card exchange. We made around 90 personalized valentines and sent them to another Phi Mu chapter. We are patiently waiting to see the valentines we get in return and are excited to strengthen inter-collegiate relations! We had a blast making the cards with lion love! Zumba! This month, we participated in our fitness chapter development by exercising together in the Farm House Gym. We had a blast dancing to fun songs while growing closer to one another and acting silly through our ability….and inability to dance!
