Job Outlook
At Stevens, we understand the value of project management tools. After all,
Stevens alumnus Henry Gantt invented the Gantt chart. A longtime pioneer
in project management, Stevens was the third university worldwide to receive
global project management accreditation from the Project Management
Institute Global Accreditation Center.
Today, Stevens continues to advance the frontiers of project management.
Stevens prepares students to be transformational leaders who can maximize
business value through strategic, enterprise-level project management.
According to the Project Management
Institute (PMI), “Between 2006 and 2016,
the number of project-oriented employees
will grow by an estimated 8.2 million.”
Qualified project managers will be able to
benefit from this exceptional employment
opportunity.
Master of Science in Enterprise Project Management
Across industries, there has been a growing demand for graduates
who possess project management, business, and leadership skills
to lead enterprise-level projects and project teams in support of
strategic business goals. The Master of Science in Enterprise Project
Management (MS-EPM) is a 36-credit degree that goes beyond the
traditional tools, tactics, and PMI certification preparation taught in
most project management programs. The Stevens Enterprise Project Management master’s program
blends courses in strategic perspectives, project planning, project
portfolio management, and cross-project leadership for an applied
curriculum that teaches students to develop the strategic mindset
to effectively lead and implement enterprise-wide projects.
You will gain insight and develop leadership skills in the areas of
diverse cultural and behavioral project environments. In addition,
you will learn to analyze and evaluate the impact of project and
program decisions on strategic business goals.
The overall Project Management program at Stevens prepares
students to manage and lead enterprise-level projects. The program
supplements the project management framework with education in
advanced project management techniques and those very critical
“soft skills.”
Curriculum
The MS-EPM program offers a unique blend of small class sizes, intense collaboration, and global professional networking opportunities.
Graduates will leave Stevens with better communications, interpersonal, and team skills to plan, implement, and manage projects across
