Unilever is looking for a Food Specialist with passion for Baking, Cooking and Spreads
ABOUT THE POSITION
As a Food Specialist you are part of the Unilever Europe Research & Development organization, involved in the
last and very critical phase of product development – implementation of innovations in the market. You will be
expected to work in cross functional teams that bring new products to the market. We expect you to become the
holder of technical expertise within our Baking, Cooking and Spreads portfolio when it comes to raw materials,
recipes, applications, food legislation, product safety and product quality. The position is based out of our Solna
Office.
With a strong customer and consumer focus, you are the ears and eyes of the Nordic market for the European
development teams as well as for the local marketing and sales organization. Our products are supplied from
different factories in Europe and you will be responsible to issue local information and specifications according to
Nordic food legislation and for the approval of the artwork. The Food specialist also gives technical and claims
support as well as monitors competitors on the market.
WHAT WE LOOK FOR
You have an Academic degree in Food Science or you are a Food Engineer with a few years of work experience in
the Food Industry or R&D. You are fluent in both Swedish OR Finnish and English. The main language used in
specifications and reports is English but as we are a pan-Nordic organization we are also interested in candidates
whom are fluent in Swedish or Finnish.
The right candidate needs to be proactive, have the ability to build relationships and think and act across functions
and processes. We want you to be structured and meticulous, and have good communication and presentation
skills in addition to a good team spirit. For the right candidate there are great chances for career development as
