MIDAS is recruiting for a Business Development Assistant to support the wider team on the delivery of core services to existing and potential investors in Greater Manchester and to contribute to the planning, co-ordination and delivery of Business Development activity.
MIDAS, part of the Manchester Growth Company, operates at the highest level with some of the most well-known global organisations. This exciting role is varied and will expose the successful candidate to a range of industry sectors, people and places.
The ideal candidate will possess outstanding communication and time management skills, and be enthusiastic and highly motivated self-starter, keen to develop new skills and happy to carry out a variety of duties, including: answering web/telephone and email based enquiries; desk based research to support the Business Development team; and preparing for and supporting events, investor visits and meetings etc.
Excellent computer skills are essential for this role, as you will be trained to maintain the company
CRM system, regularly completing update reports on behalf of the Business Development team and assisting with the provision of management information, as required.
