Connie Chang-Hasnain, Founder and
Chief Technologist, has nearly 3 decades
of experience in semiconductor lasers,
optoelectronic devices and materials. She
is the Whinnery Chair Professor of EECS
at UC Berkeley and a member of the
CIAN ERC. She is a recognized expert in
VCSELs and tunable VCSELs.
Her
research group pioneered the key HCG VCSEL technology
that BW10 will manufacture and market.
