ALIEN ATTACKERS RESOURCE PACKAGE
Program Outline
1. Alien Attackers: Armed with flash cards and bingo sheets, students go on a walk to identify native
species of plants and animals, discover invasive species common in Surrey and learn about their
impact on local habitats.
2. Nature Knowledge Game Show: The students’ knowledge about native and invasive species is put to
the test in the fun and engaging trivia game.

Extensions
1. Wanted: Create a ‘Surrey’s Most Wanted’ poster for an invasive species of your choice. Draw and
colour the plant or animal and then give a brief description and reason for its capture.
