Troubleshooting Zoll R and M Series for Pacing
Failure to Pace
Zoll R Series
Zoll M Series
1. Insure that there is good contact between
the skin and the pads
1. Insure that there is good contact between the
skin and the pads.
2. Check that the cable is securely attached
to the ECG port of the Zoll if you don't
see a P before the lead selected.
2. Check that the 3 lead ECG monitoring lead
wires are attached to the patient
3. If cable is securely attached to the ECG
port of the Zoll but don't see the P before
lead selected and unable to pace the
patient convert back to the separate 3 lead
ECG monitoring system by removing the
Zoll cable and replacing it with the
separate 3 lead ECG monitoring cable
