A) What is “bibliography”?
A bibliography is a database that contains references (Books, articles
published, websites, conference proceedings, etc.). Bibliographies are
sometimes called "references" or "works cited" depending on the style
format that you want usually placed at the end of a document and you
cited. You can save on computer then easily you can find it.
B) Choose a bibliography style.
In the “Reference tab”, go to the “Citations & Bibliography group”, click
“arrow” next to “Style” and then choose the style format “APA” or
“MLA” (Social sciences usually use it for citations and sources).

C) Insert a new citation and source to document.
Put the cursor at the end of the sentence that you want to cite. Click
“Insert Citation” and then click “Add New Source”. The “Edi Source”
dialog box appears, select the reference type and then type information
about reference as below figure, and then click “OK”.

This is a sample for citation.
Also when click “Insert Citation”, see the reference the you insert before.
You can click on this reference to insert it into your text.
D) Insert a new placeholder to document.
In the “Reference tab”, go to the “Citations & Bibliography group”, click
“arrow” next to “Insert Citation”, select “Add New Placeholder”, the
“Placeholder Name” appears then type the tag name of the source. You
can add more information at any time by clicking “Edit” in the “Source
Manager”.

E) Find a source.
You can find the source that you cited in another document from the
Master List of the “Manage Sources” in the “Citations & Bibliography
group” On the “References tab”.
The Master list appears all the used citations in previous document but in
the Current List of the “Manage Sources” appears the sources for those
citations from the document. You can also add, edit, or delete the sources.
Sort by author, citation tag
name, title, or year.
Type in the search box the title or
author that you want to find it.
Click the “Browse” to select another
master list that you want to import the
new sources into your document.

F) Create a bibliography and update it.
To create list of bibliography, go to the last page in the same document by clicking
the “References tab” from “Citations & Bibliography group” and then insert “Built-In
Bibliography/Works Cited” or “Insert bibliography”.
Hint: If you are using the Placeholder citations in your document, it will not appear in
the list of bibliography.
What is the difference between Works Cited and Bibliography?
Works Cited is a list of citing sources that you are finished work but a Bibliography is
a list of references that you not actually cited the work.
Click on the “Insert Bibliography”.
When click on reference, you can update
the citations and bibliographies.
