Body Systems Flashcards
• Due by Tuesday, November 9th
• Test Friday, November 12th
• Take out 5 pieces of paper.
• Fold them so they are in 8 boxes.
• Do not cut them apart now, but please cut
them apart when you are finished.
• You may use note cards instead.
• When you are finished, bring them to class
to get credit.
• They must be finished by Tuesday,
November 9th or you won’t get to play the
review game.
Function Flashcards (11)
• On one side of the flashcard write the
organ system with the word function in
parentheses. Ex: Circulatory (function)
• On the other side of the flashcard write
that system’s function. Ex: uses blood to
carry needed materials to and from your
cells
• Organ systems to include: Circulatory,
Respiratory, Skeletal, Muscular, Digestive,
Excretory, Nervous, Endocrine, Lymphatic,
Integumentary, and Reproductive

• On one side of the flashcard write the
organ system with the word organs in
parentheses. Ex: Circulatory (organs)
• On the other side of the flashcard write
that system’s main organs. Ex: heart,
blood, arteries, veins, capillaries

Definition Flashcards (12)
• Make flashcards with the following words.
The word should be on one side and the
definition should be on the other.
• Words to include: homeostasis, feedback
mechanism, internal stimulus, external
stimulus, veins, arteries, diaphragm, small
intestine, large intestine, kidney, brain, and
hormone
