COURSE DESCRIPTION:
The target audience for BLS-HCP Update is
those working in the Healthcare field that have
taken BLS/HCP before, have pretty good skills
already, and need to refresh their skills*
Course covers CPR for all ages, AED, and use of
bag-mask devices.
*If you need more time to practice skills,
sign up for the PROVIDER course
COURSE PREREQUISITES:



Current BLS-HCP certification
Completion of pre-test or e-Learning
Current BLS-HCP manual or completion
of Heartcode BLS/HCP (e-Learning
program)
COURSE MATERIALS:
Students must complete the eLearning program “HeartCode® BLS
Part 1” and bring the certificate of
completion to class.
HOW: Purchase a “key” from the CPR
Department as part of your fee by
selecting: “Fee with BLS Manual or eLearning Program”
or select “Fee Without Manual or eLearning Program” and pay on your own
when you log into the web site (Cost:
$28.50 USD)

complete a pretest, and use the
current 2011 BLS/HCP manual instead,
only up until April 2016.
