We are pleased to announce that Joe Dionisio, one of Santa Rosa’s Board Members has accepted the position at Penn State as Professor of Practice and Director of External Relations and MHA Professional
Development.
Dennis G. Shea, Ph.D., Department Head and Professor of Health Policy and Administration for Penn
State shares, “ Joe will assume many of the administrative duties previously performed by Mike
Meacham, as well as becoming a full-time faculty member in HPA.”
“Joe is an accomplished health services executive. After working 20 years at Price Waterhouse where he was a partner, he joined the Allegheny Health System in Pittsburgh where he spent
11 years in executive positions, including serving as Interim CFO during its restructuring.
Following that, he served as Senior Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer for CareGroup,
Inc., a regional health care system based at the Harvard Medical Center. His most recent position was President and CEO of New England Baptist Hospital, a CareGroup affiliate.”
