MARTINA

wanted to go skydiving for your
birthday.
HECTOR
I said that? I can't believe it.
JAKE

(realizes) Wow! I'm really gonna
jump from a plane?
JAKE
Yup, at 13,000 feet. Come on.

Now? You're joking. (stalling) Uh,

MARTINA
It'll be here when you get back.
HECTOR

They all head for the door.
Chaz walks out.
CHAZ

because just flying scares me.
Jumping - no way! I can't believe

EXT. PARACHUTE SCHOOL AT AIRFIELD. JAKE IS FILMING HECTOR
GETTTING READY TO BOARD THE PLANE TO JUMP.
HECTOR
What a crazy idea!

I thought you were going to come up
with me.
I knew you'd back out at the last
minute, Jake.
Who's got the cold feet now?
Well, it looks like I have all the
equipment.

I've got the harness, jumpsuit,
helmet, and more importantly, my
instructor has the parachute.
Hector walks to the plane.

CHAZ
Look at the expression on Hector’s
face. How do you think he is
feeling? By the look on his face I
would say that he seems pretty
nervous. I don’t blame him.
Now, he looks really excited. (Chaz
covers his face but keeps peeking
to look at the screen.) I can't
watch.
They’re turning circles now. I’m
getting dizzy just watching this .

Oh, what a relief. I’m sure Hector
feels a lot better now that the
parachute is open. I know I do.
I’m glad that’s over.
HECTOR
Exhilarating! Next year we’re all
going bungee jumping.
CHAZ
