TERMS & CONDITIONS:1A bid bond, in the shape of pay order / bank draft equivalent to 02% of the total bid
value should be submitted along with the tender. Any quotation without bid bond of proper
value will not be entertained. The bid bond (pay order/ bank draft) of all unsuccessful bidders
will be returned upon issuance of letter of award to successful bidders. The bid bond amount of
successful firm will be returned by State Life till successful completion of orders.
2All the bids and price shall remain valid for a period of 90 days from the closing date
of the submission of the proposals.
3All taxes at the rate prescribed under the tax laws of Pakistan shall apply on supply and
installation of equipment to State Life and it all be deducted accordingly.
4Considering various complexities of procreation process and time consuming
procedure involved their in, causing the bids in fractious owing to rapid redundancy trends and
features of the Information Technology Industry, State Life Insurance Corporation of Pakistan
reserves the right not to accept the lowest quoted rates and shall be authorized to negotiate the
prices with the participating bidders or cancel any proposed and to even cancel the bidding
process without assigning any reason what so ever before placing order under rule 33 (1) of
PPRA – 2004.
5The quantity of the actual order placed may vary from the estimated quality as
mentioned in the advertisement.
6State Life Insurance Corporation of Pakistan will deduct 5% of the bill amount, if order
equipment is not delivered and installed within Four Weeks from the date of issuance of letter
of award for equipment. The letter of award will become void if equipment is not delivered and
installed within Eight Weeks of issuance of letter of award for the equipment the bid bond of
that specific item will be faceted.
7The valuation result shall be communicated to all the participating venders at least 10
days prior to award of purchase order in terms of rules 35 of PPRA – 2004.

The bidders must attach copies of their NTN and GST certificates with the tender.
9The venders shall be liable to get the Hardware and Software installed at our
designated site and making it functional and operational for all practical proposes. The
Licensed Software shall be registered by the vender with M/S Microsoft with documentary
evidence in this effect in the name of respective issuers (which shall be communicated
separately at appropriate time on the request of the venders before delivery).

TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. Quotations shall be accepted only on tender document to be collected from our office on
payment of Rs. 100/- (Rupees Hundred Only) cash as tender fee (non-refundable).
2. The sealed quotation should reach the Secretary Zonal Procurement Committee, State
Life, 3rd Floor, Al-Farhan Tower, Plot D-15, Block H, North Nazimabad, Karachi upto
4th August, 2010 by 11:00 a.m. The envelope must bear the “Quotation for Personal
Computers”.
3. Tender will be opened in the office of Convener ZPC State Life, Karachi Central Zone on
4th August, 2010 at 11:30 a.m. in the presence of bidders or their representatives who are
available.
