MMA RETURNS TO MYSTIC LAKE WITH
RESURRECTION FIGHTING ALLIANCE 36

PRIOR LAKE – JANUARY 11, 2016 — Mixed martial arts, the fastest-growing sport in the world, makes its thrilling
return to Mystic Lake on Friday, March 4.
Doors open at 5 p.m. with fights scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. The main card, which will be broadcast live on
nationwide television via AXS-TV, starts at 9 p.m. sharp. The event will be regulated by the Minnesota Combative
Sports Commission.
Resurrection Fighting Alliance, one of the premier MMA promotional companies in the United States and the top
feeder league for the UFC, returns to Mystic Lake with its elite-level MMA action. This is RFA's fourth appearance at
Mystic Lake, this time presenting RFA 36.
RFA 36 will bring some of the top fighters in the world to the Mystic Showroom. The event also features several of the
top prospects from the state of Minnesota.
"RFA is loading up with local talent, showcasing these young fighters to the world via national TV," said Shakopee's
Jeremy Bjornberg, who helped put the fight card together for RFA. "RFA is making its fourth appearance at Mystic
Lake, and the venue is perfect. RFA has delivered action-packed fight cards every time they've come to Minnesota,
and this March will be no different."
RFA 36 features the return of Minnesota's own "Bash Brothers." Melvin and Marvin Blumer are identical twins who've
built a reputation for action-packed, fast-paced brawls. Both Blumers will be in action March 4.
The event also marks the return of Minnesota Martial Arts Academy standout Dan Moret, along with the pride of the
North Country, Reese Hernandez. Other local standouts scheduled to be in action are Bobby Lee, Alex Wiggs,
Bonnie Stoehr, Cameron Gilliam, Ty Bowling, Alton Cunningham and Karter Holthusen.
