includes the government of Bekasi Regency. Started as industrial area
currently, Cikarang transformed to a vibrant and modern city , equipped

Cikarang is consist of West Cikarang, East Cikarang, Center Cikarang,
South Cikarang, North Cikarang.
West Cikarang has the largest population, which is 225,160 people with
density 4,194 people / per square km. Population growth, up to 3,000
people each year and the rate of population growth in Bekasi has
reached 4.7% in 2012.
GDP per capita demonstrates significant growth from IDR 28.19 million in
2005 to IDR 41.8 million (5.8% growth annually).
Presence of industrial areas and population growth drive economic
growth, which reached 6,22% in 2012
Cikarang industrial area considering the potential of about 2,125 units
factories. Came from 30 countries located in the region. The most
dominant sector in Bekasi Regency GDRP is manufacturing at 78.06%.
The region donating 34.46% National Foreign Investment and as 45% of
national export volume. In 2008 the turnover of the industrial park reach
$ 35 billion and 70% of them for export markets.
