SkillCheck Online Assessments This information is a précis of the SkillCheck Online Skill Testing Service. General Guidelines: SkillCheck Online Testing Service casual (ad hoc) bookings may be made during normal business hours 8:00am – 6:00pm (AEST) Monday – Friday via e‐mail using the “ad hoc online booking” form. Substantial discounts are available for pre‐paid volume users. Prices are subject to alteration without notice. Tests are counted as separate units, e.g. Word 2003 – Standard & Typing equals two tests. Tests are issued as “eTickets” via e‐mail and are valid for use within 30 days. Access is via a “clickable link” in the e‐mail. Casual users will receive a Tax Invoice. Payment via funds transfer to our bank account is the preferred payment method. Credit card facilities are available. Volume users are requested to pay for site establishment and initial test meters prior to the service commencing. Bank details are shown on our Tax Invoice. Credit cards are accepted. For volume users, a separate skill testing website is established with substantial end‐user controls. Annual Site Licenses are available for a restricted class of user. Ask for more details from SkillCheck Pacific Pty Ltd. Technical Information: Access to the SkillCheck Online Testing Service requires an Internet connection. Full technical specifications are available upon request. They are very easy to meet and the vast majority of first time users connect the first time. Dial‐up connections will suffice in most cases, however a 128kbps or faster connection is recommended. Some tests require sound capability on the PC used for testing.
