Chris : What do you want King Eurystheus?
Malak: Your first task will be to kill the Nemean Lion.
Chris: Are you sure?
Malak: I am.
Chris : You don’t want me to do something else?
Malak : No.
Chris: I could write a piece of music,
Malak: No.
Chris: Or arrange a buffet.
Malak: No.

Chris: OK I’ll do it.
Gigi : Hercules set off on his seemingly impossible task until he came across the town of Cleeonay, a market place.
(Marketplace)
Chris : Do you have any rooms available?
Jack: I do, come.
(Hut)
Jack: Welcome to my hut, please take a seat. Some tea? You don’t look like who doesn’t these parts.
What brought you here?
Chris: I have been sent on a task to kill the Neman Lion.
Jack: ( shocked ) Good hunting. Do you want me to make a sacrifice?
Chris : Yes If I die sacrifice to me, and if I don’t then sacrifice to Zeus.
Jack: Very well we must sleep
(Music)
Gig i: So, the next morning Hercules set off to hunt the Nemean Lion.
( Trees with Hercules walking through, forest sounds, lion )
Jack : Good luck, fair hunting.

(Cave, Chris roll stone in front of Gigi)

(Chris goes through other entrance, Chris chokes Ophelia)

Malak : I am amazed, very impressive Hercules. ( Sarcastic claps ) I shall make your second task hard.
Your second task is to kill the Hydra from the murky waters of the swamp.
( All spin out with two coming on )
Billy : Hercules set off to hunt the nine-headed menace, but he did not go alone
Dom : His trusty nephew, Iolaus, was by his side, who shared many adventures with Hercules.
Sylvia: Iolaus won a victory in Chariot racing at the Olympics and he is often depicted as Hercules’ charioteer.
Billy: we shall drive together - the pair drove to Lerna.
Dom : first Hercules lured the coily creatures from safety of its den by shooting flaming arrows at it.

Malak: Task 3, eurystheus ordered Hercules to bring him the hind of Ceyrneia
Gigi: But before we go on any further, we’ll have to ask ourselves 2 questions. One, What is a hind?
And 2, where is Ceryneia?
Sylivia: Ceryneia is a town in Greece, And a hind is simply a female red deer
Buena: Now this deer is no normal deer it is special because of it’s golden horns and bronze hoofs
Ophelia: Not only that it was sacred to the goddess of hunting, it was her special pet
Dom: I couldn’t risk getting Airtimes angry at me I am already in enough trouble with Hera!

Didi: Hercules set out on an adventure, and he hunted the deer for a whole year until…
Billy: After a year
Dom: Oh there it is!
(Hercules shoots him)
(carries it but meets Apollo and Artimes)
Gigi: How dare he shoot my animal! Stop me Apollo my rage is bubbling too high and I cant control it!!
Ophelia: Try and calm yourself he may have a good reason
Gigi: how dare you shoot at my animal!! Guards cease him!!
Dom: no wait please don’t, please don’t I had to obey the Oracle and do the labours the king
Eurythesus had given me
Gigi: oh Eurythesus. In that case. I shall take my anger upon him.
Buena: Task number four!
Silvia: to bring back the Eurythian boar … ALIVE
(Billy being a boar noise)

All: ahh it’s the boar – men attack.
(boar throws men all over the place – choreograph fight sequence)
(fauns in a cave)
Ophelia: now on the way to beat the boar Hercules made a pit stop and drank some tea with his the faun friend who lived in a cave(horse body and human head)
Silvia: may I have some wine
(all look at the wine)
Didi: I couldn’t open it because it belongs to the fauns and centaurs in common.
Ophelia: ah not to worry! I will open it

(all in slow motion newspaper fight)

(they leave and the faun has died)
Silvia: oh no my friend, what have I done! I feel cursed, all my loved ones keep dying around me.

(and in rage Hercules shocks the pig and carries it away)
Dom: Excellent. Task 5!! Cleaning the Kings stables
Buena: ooooooh no! I hate cleaning! Anything but cleaning! I will fight anything the biggest creatures and save the world, but not cleaning!! I mean it just isn’t my strength in life… mother always used to tell me off!
Billy: whats worse is the King owned more cattle than anyone in the land. And he had to do it all in
(Drum roll) One Day!
(cast turn into cattle mooing)
Buena: What?! In one day but there sooo much cleaning to do, I will do this for a deal. If I do this in one day you have to give me a tenth of the cattle.
All: what? No way
Buena: come on help me out here – I’ve already done so much! And now cleaning!! That is far too much now…
All: Ok deal!
(Buena makes a hole in the wall on both sides of the cattle – Jack and Ophelia - rivers flood the yard with parachute)
Buena: yes the rivers have run through the farm and made everything clean!
All: Hercules that is not cleaning this task does not count!!
Buena: oh

?: Task 6 a slightly more tricky task (Jack as Hercules?)
(bird noises into the centre of the stage and lift up Hercules)
(lift up 3 times)
(one person comes out of the chorus )
?: he must drive away an emormous flock of birds.
Hercules: Athena help me help me! Help me get away from these birds
Voice of Athena: Hercules I give you a krotala – this shall help you
(noise of a tambourine)
( Every time Hercules makes the sound the birds whimper does this 3 times every time playing with the audience)
(They all escape )
(3 characters:- minataur, Hercules, bull)
?: Task 7 hercules travels to the island of crete to meet this creature
(play grab the keys from underneath someone – turning into grabbing his horns and getting thrown off)
Minos the king of crete was ordered by the sea-god Poseidon to sacrifice whatever he would send.
?: he sent a bull. But minos thought he was too beautiful to kill. And broke his promise
In his anger the god created a minataur (the minataur is produced) and locked him up in a labyrnth
(bull stays angry and others minataur in the middle of people holding hands going all the way round the minataur.)
Hercules comes in and manages to kill the bull (kill bull and go through arms of people and kills bull).

?: task 8 capturing the horses of King Diomedes
?: “capturing horses “ you say!?
?: that doesn’t seem too hard!
?: oh yeah?! Well what if those horses just happen to be Man-eaters!!!
(tribal man eating song – about eating men)
?: King Diomedes (points to someone) feeds people that get on his nerves to the horses.
?: so Hercules feeds her to the horses
?: they calm down and are sent off
?: task 9 – he’s doing well don’t you think!!
?: this one was to obtain the belt of HJyppolyta – the queen of the amazons
(a tribe of women appear around the stage)
