Repairing Small Engines
Significant Task for Quarter 1:
Project Design: Disassembly and reassembly of a small engine.
Description:
Students will be able explain and apply OSHA Standards within the shop.
Students will be able to apply general shop safety by proper handling of chemicals.
Students will be able to verify initial engine operation.
Students will be able to disassemble and organize engine components.
Students will be able to properly reassemble engine components to create a functioning engine.
Process:
Students will be assigned a small engine to disassemble, identify and measure engine
components, reassemble and verify engine operation.
