IEEE/IFIP NOMS 2014 IEEE/IFIP NETWORK OPERATIONS AND MANAGEMENT SYMPOSIUM KRAKOW, POLAND • 5-9 MAY 2014 Management in a Software Defined World EXPERIENCE SESSIONS CALL FOR PAPERS TOPICS OF INTEREST NOMS 2014 will be next year's IEEE flagship conference in the area of management of networked systems and services. The symposium will include an Experience Session program. Experience Sessions complement the Technical Sessions with contributions that emphasize practical experiences and lessons learnt in applying, implementing, and deploying management technology. They will focus on aspects such as real-world deployment scenarios, experiences with the management of new services and technology, industrial applications of management technology, implementation experiences, and organizational considerations. Experience sessions are particularly aimed at decision makers and experts from industry. NOMS 2014's theme is "Management in a Software Defined World". NOMS 2014 will place particular emphasis on Software Defined Networking and related technologies; submissions in those areas are particularly encouraged. Papers for the Experience Sessions must be written in English and adhere to one of the following two format options: Option 1: Annotated Slides. Papers should have a visual in the upper half of a page and the explanatory text in the lower half. Paper submissions must not exceed 15 annotated visuals including title and references, in PDF only. Option 2: IEEE 2-column format. This is the same format as for Technical Sessions. Paper submissions must not exceed 6 pages, in PDF only.
