The council don't know how to make decisions as they are not part of the public. They dont live on the streets and see what's happeneing around them. All I can see the council

OK, i have worked at Trinity for four years now as a dj. There have been fights, but this has escalated in the last few months due to pubs battling out to do the cheapest drinks
possible.
Maybe if pubs were more responsible & weren't doing £1.50 drinks all night, you wouldnt get coked up drunk idiots coming in & starting these fights.
Maybe Trinity should be more wary of these & after chatting to the owners yesterday, there is going to be a big clamp down.v They won't stop the live music, it is too culturally
important, though how many people in Harrow care about new music apart from the bands their friends are in?
Anyway, Trinity will retain it's license, its a livelihood and passion. Maybe lower the drink prices a bit though.......Bloody independent pubs. Makes me sick.

Seriously peeps, pay attention. Trinity is NOT CLOSING. Harrow Council want to take away it's late license because of the trouble that has brewed there in the past few months with
bar staff not feeling comfortable refusing to serve people who are too drunk (as they don't feel like they will be backed up) and bouncers that join in fights rather than break them
up.
I want Trinity to keep its late license as I believe taking it away will cause more trouble. The closing times are nicely staggered so drunken revellers are not all kicked out at the same
time. However, the management need to reign in the bouncers and back up their bar staff.
- There will still be live music
- There will still be a Trinity
- It just may close at 12 and not 3 because some people who go there cause trouble.
It's them that you want to be having a go at, not Harrow Council and the Police who have to deal with the aftermath.

Trinity is a legandary bar and probably a historic landmark for all sorts of different reasons! Personally I loved the Monday Salsa lessons we used to go to. I was especially impressed
that the instructors were keen even though we were legless-literally! And even when we skipped 3 months they still remembered our names- Ange get in here and shake your booty

The amount of fights and noise that happen coming out of that place at 2am in the morning its not a suprise people have complained and now the council are taking notice. Its a
good venue that everyone in harrow enjoys. But if idiots keep going there and causing trouble this will be the outcome. The bouncers do a pretty good job at controlling the idiots but

Be a big shame if they do lose the late license. I'm not really sure some of the criticism aimed at the DJs is fair, a lot of the stuff they play is on request, so if you want to hear
something different, you can always ask, they're a good bunch and even if they've not got something exact, as long you're not completely blotto, they'll have a good chat with you
and try and get something else similar for you. Also, could do with more bouncers, true, but the ones they've got have generally been a-okay to me, and I've been in some right old
states in there.

The situation isn't quite that Harrow Council want to take away the licence. The licence has been called for review which was made by the Local Licensing Sergeant on the ground of
the prevention of crime and disorder.
If you really want to be of help to the management in their battle against a reduction in permitted hours, the best course of action would be to contact them direct or write a letter of
support that can be submitted to the Licensing Sub-Committee at the review hearing. Alternatively, you could of course make contact by email with the Licensing Department at
Harrow Council. I would warn you however that submissions of support of otherwise will be considerred only if they concern the Promotion of the 4 Licensable Activities... if you really
care enough to want to help, wikipedia should provide you with enough info as to how you should present your arguments.

It's still a fact that no license withdrawal has been started. The process doesn't even start til early June.
I just think it's important to not come across as though it has already been decided.
10,000 complaints need to be compiled for it to definitely lose the license. Let's wait and see what (if anything) happens.

This would be awful if it happened, to be honest i've only ever been there like after pub-kicking out time, and yes we moan about it sometimes, but it's the only place to go out late
in Harrow. I don't understand how shortening the licence will solve any problem, surely it will cause more by having lots of drunken people on the streets with nowhere to go but the
bus garage to start fights?? Had many a good night in there, and Chris Uxbridge and Watford are too far to go sometimes and there's wayyy more fights there, if i've been having a
laugh in Junction or Moons all night, what better place to go than across the road to finish off a night?
If the licence shortened, I reckon it would only be a matter of time before Trinity lost so much business it closed, especially with the price of drinks compared to other pubs. I'll sign

While some people have pointed out that its not the whole licence, just the late one - think: Will enough punters come through the door to keep the place open as a business? I'd

Erm... this is not a fact. The council is reviewing the license, that's all.
They'd need major complaints (by mid-June which is when the actual review starts) in order to change the licence. I think this group might be slightly anticipating events. I support it
anyway but we need to make sure we're not giving out the wrong message.

remember many goods nights in there in my youth ( shows age now)
although I no longer live in London its a shame to hear a moronic council not supporting these venues.
In bournemouth & poole , and the surrounding area we have loads of live music venues for up & coming bands - local councils should support them.
With harrow being the diverse place it is now the council would more be better off looking after these places and working with them.

Retracting my previous statement...Went to Trinity last night and was a great night. Maybe previous comments were a bit harsh and if it did close it is true a legendary venue would

That bit about "bringing a bit of Camden into the suburbs" is a little unnecessary. We're trying to get people BEHIND the Trinity, not behind a movement to have it flattened and
