Need Help Logging In To MyAid?
If you are getting a Validation Error or Error Code IA, try this:
•
Enter your Student ID and click on FIRST TIME USER.
•
Type your Social Security Number WITHOUT DASHES. For example, if your Social Security
Number is 987-65-4321, you will type: 987654321.
•
Type your FULL date of birth separating the month (MM), day (DD) and year (YYYY) with a
forward slash. For example, if you were born April 30, 1997, you will type: 04/30/1997.
•
Complete the Security Questions
•
In the Change Password section, this is where you will “Enter Your New Password” and
“Confirm Your New Password.”
•
Hit SUBMIT.
•
OTHER REASONS FOR ERROR CODE IA:

This error often happens if there is an extra blank space either before or after the Student
ID. Make sure there is no extra space, as it is seen as an extra character that will make the
Student ID appear to be wrong.

This error will also occur if you already have an active account and attempt to login as a
“First Time User.” Instead try to login with the Student ID and Password you already
have in the main login box. If you forgot your Password, click on “Forgot Your
Password?” and it will verify you with the security questions you previously set up
when you created your Password.
If you do not know your Student ID:
•
Email the Office of Financial Aid at financialaid@fandm.edu
If you forgot your password:
•
The College does not have access to your password.
•
Enter your Student ID, leave the password box blank, and click on the “Forgot Your Password?”
link below the SUBMIT button.
•
You will be directed to a “Change Your Password” page that will ask you a series of personal
questions. Answer the questions, and change your password.
I enter my Student ID and click on “Forgot your Password?” but I get an error
message.
•

As a parent will you give my son/daughter’s MyAid account log in information?
•
NO. Your son/daughter is the only person who has permission to access MyAid. It is up to your
son/daughter to provide you with access to MyAid. This follows the College’s compliance to the
Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).
•
Your son/daughter can email the Office of Financial Aid at financialaid@fandm.edu to request
their Student ID.
As an international admitted student with non-U.S. citizenship, I do not have a Social
Security Number (SSN) to set up my MyAid account.
•
If you are a non-U.S. citizen and do not have an SSN, please email the Office of Admission and
ask for a temporary SSN to access MyAid: intladmissions@fandm.edu.
