Tawheed Books For the Beginner The Noble Scholar ‘Ubayd Ibn ‘Abdullaah al-Jaabiree hafidhahullaah was asked: 1 “What is the best way for a beginner to learn Tawheed?” He replied: “Indeed you have learnt from what has passed (in this lecture), that Tawheed is to single out Allaah in all worship. The one who intends to study Tawheed - an intricate, good study, then he should begin with: Firstly: Usool ath-Thalaatha (The Three Fundamental Principles of Islaam). Secondly: Kitaab ut-Tawheed (The Book of Tawheed) 2 Thirdly: Kashf-ush Shubuhaat (Removing the Doubts) 3 These three books are by the Imaam Muhammad Ibn ‘Abdul-Wahhaab rahimahullaah. The student should study these books with a scholar from the People of Knowledge – those strong in their Islaamic creed and belief (‘aqeedah).” (end) Reference: The Two Fundamental Principles of the Religion (audio lecture) : salafibookstore.com [transcription: Bint Mahmood] 2 Transcriber’s note: The first two books are translated and available from salafibookstore.com. 3 Transcriber’s note: Translated portions of this are available from spubs.com 1 Islam4Kids.com
