Students can check their syllabus and assignments, view their class participation,
receive Early Alters, register for tutoring, and use the library search tool.
Students can identify their education goals and determine the program/plan they wish
to pursue. Here students will identify their enrollment preferences about:
- The college(s) where you would prefer to take classes (1st, 2nd choice)
- Credit hour load (Fall/Spring, Summer)
- Meeting pattern (day of week)
- Academic shift (AM/PM)
- Instructional mode (classroom, online classes, or both)
- IL transferability (Illinois Articulation Initiative (IAI) approved classes)
The student’s education plan generates class enrollments for each semester based on
their preferences, and helps to guide registration.
Students can find information about graduation, future careers, transferring to other
colleges, and other alumni information.
This section provides information about activities at each college, including student
government, student newspaper, clubs, and athletics.
This section covers financial aid, payment plans, scholarships, student accounts, and
balances & payments.
In Personal Information, you will have access to view information specific to you. In
many cases, you will even be able to update your information online.
Help & Resources provides a list of services available to students, including Academic
Advising, Tutoring Services, the Wellness Center, the Disability Access Center, and
Veterans Services.

What are some really cool features for students that they do not have today?
Answer: Whole Program Enrollment (WPE) applies to all credential-seeking students, and enables
them to plan their entire program, from start to completion, term-by-term, all at once. WPE
functionality will be accessible in the Student Portal, and will inform registration beginning with
Summer & Fall 2015. Following is an overview of how WPE works.
1 - A new student receives an automated communication asking him/her to complete their
preferences and educational goals in Campus Solutions.
2 - The new student meets with his/her academic advisor to select the appropriate program of study
to meet his/her educational goals.
3 - The Student Planner is a tool in Campus Solutions that identifies courses to be taken each
semester to complete the student’s chosen program of study. The Student Planner identifies courses,
in sequence order and organized by term, that represents the student’s entire planned course of
study or their “whole program” while at CCC from start to completion.
4 - The Student Planner is “open” so students can make changes to the Planner by themselves or with
their advisors. Updates or edits might include changing courses and/or their order in the planner or
choosing electives. The student may lock choices or refresh the Planner at any time.
• The Planner will not allow the student to select a course outside of their chosen program of study
without administrative approval.
• If the student wishes to change his/her program of study, the student must meet with
his/her advisor. Only advisors may change a program of study. If a student works with
the advisor to change the program of study, the advisor will run a process to update the
Student Planner to show the new course of study.
5 - Each term, WPE matches the courses in the Student Planner with courses offered that term. WPE
then loads the student’s Shopping Cart with courses that best match their preferences.
The Shopping Cart uses the following to determine classes for the student:
• Student Planner
• Student preferences
• Schedule of classes

• Class capacity
• Travel time between Colleges
Shopping Carts are loaded one time per term.
6 - The student is notified by Campus Solutions when his/her Shopping Cart is available to be validated
(reviewed/revised). This is called the student’s Validation Appointment. The Validation Appointment
occurs two weeks before the student may enroll in classes. Anytime on or after the student’s
Validation Appointment date, the student can make changes to the Shopping Cart alone or with the
advisor.
The Validation Appointment is very similar to making changes to a shopping cart at
Amazon.com. Students may make changes during their Validation Appointment before
enrolling in classes.
7 - The student is notified by Campus Solutions when he/she is allowed to enroll in classes, or may
choose to allow the system to automatically enroll him/her.
When enrollment opens, this is called the student’s Enrollment Appointment. Any time on or after
the student’s Enrollment Appointment date, the student may finalize the Shopping Cart and enroll in
classes alone or with the advisor.
If a class is filled, the student will be notified and prompted to add a different class.
How do I register for a class?
Answer: Students are notified by Campus Solutions when they are allowed to enroll in classes.
The first day a student is able to register is called the student’s Enrollment Appointment. Any time on
or after the student’s Enrollment Appointment date, the student may finalize the Shopping Cart of
courses, and enroll in classes alone or with the advisor.
How can I track my progress toward my degree?
Answer: In Campus Solutions, a student or academic advisor may review a Degree Audit report,
which tracks the student’s progress toward their degree.
The Degree Audit compares the student’s academic history to the degree requirements of his/her
program of study. It incorporates credit earned from successfully completing classes at CCC, and
approved credit from transfer and/or testing. The Degree Audit updates when a student successfully
completes a course, and automatically updates the Student Planner.
My.CCC.edu will provide students and advisors quick access to Degree Audits for the core
