JOB TITLE: WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR - FULFILLMENT

SCOPE/PURPOSE
The Warehouse Supervisor helps manage the daily operations of a multi-client third party logistics and
fulfillment facility. The Supervisor reports to the Facility Site Manager and works with the Site Manager
to plan, organize, and monitor the receiving, storage, and distribution of customers’ products. The
Supervisor helps to determine space requirements and ensure that inventory is put away, relocated and
stored accurately. The Supervisor manages the daily work schedules of warehouse employees, ensures a
smooth and productive operation, and is responsible for the proper operation and maintenance of
equipment and a safe, clean working environment.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Plans and coordinates warehouse staff to meet daily order fulfillment and shipping needs
- Trains, motivates, evaluates and disciplines warehouse staff
- Manages the Shipping/Receiving Clerk and Account Leads
- Ensures proper training, safe operation and maintenance of material handling equipment
- Understands, ensures compliance with and is able to train on warehouse-related SOPs,
individual account work instructions and other warehouse processes and procedures
- Makes recommendations to the Facility Manager on programs to improve warehouse
operations
- Interviews and recommends Warehouse Associate applicants for hire
- Manage the general upkeep of the facility
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- 3 to 5 years of experience in Warehousing, Receiving or Inventory Control, ideally within a multiclient warehousing environment
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, demanding warehouse environment
- Ability to train and develop warehouse personnel
- Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing
- Must be certified to operate and able to train warehouse staff to operate fork lifts and other
material handling equipment
- Organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong Microsoft Office skills and ability to learn our proprietary WMS
- Safety minded
- Applicant must be authorized to work in the United States
