SCANTRON Model 888P+
The Scantron Model 888P+ is an optical mark reader (OMR) and is faster (scores 2000 tests per hour) and very quiet when
compared to the 888 model. This scanner is a standalone machine and is not connected to any computer or printer. When
feeding test forms through this scanner, test results are stamped on each individual form. This scanner approach does not
provide a gradebook function nor does it provide a detailed printout of the results. See document ACS-233 to learn more
about ParScore – a gradebook and test scoring software program available at the ACS Service Desk in LA5-371.
