A Message from the Director
Dear alumni and friends,
Planned gifts provide the resources that create extraordinary opportunities for our faculty
and students and can help to shape the future of the UNC-Chapel Hill Division of Clinical
Laboratory Science. A planned gift may enable you to make a more significant gift than you
thought possible while at the same time allowing you to achieve your financial, philanthropic
and estate planning goals.
We recently created new web resources at www.med.unc.edu/ahs/WaysofGivingtoCLS
offering multiple giving options from naming UNC Chapel Hill Division of Clinical Laboratory Science as a beneficiary
in your will to funding a charitable gift annuity that will provide you and loved ones income for life while making a
significant gift to our program.
When you name the UNC-Chapel Hill Division of Clinical Laboratory Science in your estate plans, we know that you
include us in a special group of family, friends, and organizations that you hold dear, and we are very grateful. Please
contact our development director Kyle Gray (919-966-3352 or kyle_gray@med.unc.edu) or me
(919-966-3033 or sbeck@med.unc.edu) if you have any questions.
Sincerely,
Susan Beck, PhD, MLS(ASCP)CM
Professor and Director
