How do I get financial aid?
By filling out the FAFSA, you have already applied for
Federal Pell Grant. Then go to www.ihl.state.ms.us
to fill out the application for the two grants available
to Mississippians.
You must FIRST fill out a Free Application for
Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) online at www.fafsa.

What next?
There are four different ways you can receive
funds to help pay for your education. They are
listed in the right column, so find which one best
meets your needs and qualifications!
By filling out the FAFSA, you will have applied for
Federal Work-Study. If eligible, Northwest will help
you find a job on campus to help cover your cost of
attendance.

Students who still need assistance covering their
cost of attendance while in school can apply for
