Trek Travel Outside Sales Representative: Western USA and Western Canada Summary Description: Manage and strengthen Trek Travel sales and marketing through the Trek Dealers. This position is full time and based either in Madison WI or remotely in the western USA reporting to the Trek Travel Sales Manager in Madison, WI. The territory is the Western USA, British Columbia and Alberta. Responsibilities: Ø Manage dealer relationships for all dealers Ø Increase dealer referral bookings Ø Increase number of group & private dealer trips Ø Increase awareness & activity in Trek Travel programs Ø Increase Trek Travel exposure through dealer marketing in the form of emails, social media, events, website and mail lists Ø Exceed dealer expectations through exceptional customer service Ø Create and execute Dealer Sales Plan and All New Dealer Program Ø Organize all aspects of successful Trek Travel events, including persuasive presentations to dealers, their staff and customers Ø Communicate effectively with Sales Manager Ø Utilize CRM / booking system for lead entry/management, bookings and reporting Ø Become strong member of the sales team to develop new ideas to increase overall TT sales Ø Exceptional product knowledge Ø Develop strong understanding of all sales programs and sales systems Requirements: Ø 5 Years direct sales and/or marketing experience ideally in the Travel or Bike industry Ø Excellent communication & presentation skills Ø Strong organizational, attention to detail, planning & time-­‐management skills Ø Advanced computer skills and web based applications Ø Strong persuasive & interpersonal skills Ø Exceptional customer service experience Ø Must be able to travel to sales events, dealer events, trade shows About Trek Travel Trek Travel offers endless options for cycling vacation packages regardless of cycling style.
