Unit Synopsis
This unit will include lessons and activities that focus on the structure of poetry and dramas. Students will continue developing their narratives by adding
more sophisticated features such as dialogue and figurative language. This unit is expected to last approximately four weeks.

Overall this unit went very well. I would like to add more compare/contrast activities with poems and plays. I would also like to find more information on poems to help
the students and myself better understand them. I also want them to write more poetry of their own.
