Assignments will be posted on McGraw Hill’s Connect site. You must complete these assignments before the deadline. Although there will be an assignment posted that corresponds to each lecture, only 5 of the assignments will be graded (worth 3% each). These will be noted clearly in the title of the assignment, and are included in the schedule below.

Midterm exams (20% and 25%)

Midterm exams will take place during the first hour of scheduled lecture, in the lecture hall

(ED106 in Regina, and Fred Davies Auditorium, Kelsey). There are no make-up mid-term

exams. Marks for the missed mid-term exam will be reallocated over the remainder of the tests/exams in the course. Students who miss either of the two lecture mid-term exams, must provide a valid excuse with documentation to Dr. Finlay.

Final Exam (40%)

The final exam covers the entire course. Please note that this course falls under the Academic

Regulations of the University of Regina and the Faculty of Science (these regulations are printed in the General Calendar, available at http:www.uregina.ca/gencal.ugcal/ ). “Deferred” final exams can only be granted by the Dean of Nursing. Deferred final exams cannot be granted by the course instructors.
