Support materials for each distance education course are sent to the student. These materials may include course syllabus, textbook, CD-ROM and other printed documents required for the distance education course. Students are assigned a cohort group for each distance education course. Online interaction within their assigned group and with the instructor is through discussion board and e-mail systems.
