For those of you asking— WHAT IS ACTS?
(ACTS is an acronym signifying Adoration, Community, Theology and Service)
This is a Catholic retreat weekend led by laypeople like yourself. It is meant to
nourish you on your faith journey and ultimately enhance the life of your parish.

The PURPOSE of the weekend is to inspire the retreatants to a new or deeper relationship with the Lord and fellow parishioners through:
Adoration and daily prayer.
Community in one's parish as a member of the Body of Christ.
Theology or the teachings of our Christian faith by encouraging more
study of our faith and God's Word. Instilling a virtue that will call
each of us to
S ervice to our Lord, our parish and each other.
Our desire is to help the participants
experience God's love and joy throughout the weekend, and return to their church community with a deeper love for each other and a desire to
become more involved in their church community.
The cost is $150 for the weekend. A NON –REFUNDABLE $25 deposit will hold your place. Or
you may pay by check, cash or on line at St. Paul’s website www.stpaulsjuneau.org (click on
the donation button, fill in the appropriate info and scroll to where it says Other. In the box
next to the amount line fill in MACTS, WACTS or TACTS).
