Overview
The Vendor Standards Manual outlines important information on fulfilling business with Fashion Fix. This addendum should
be used in conjunction with SFA Vendor Standards Manual found on www.saksincorporated.com. Vendor should adhere
to requirements found in this manual for Fashion Fix policies. We expect our vendors to support us by shipping their
merchandise under our routing, packing, transportation, and invoicing guidelines.

This addendum outlines Fashion Fix special requirements for the following areas:
a. Ticket Formats
b. Hanger Standards
c. Photo Not Matching Violations
d. Wrinkle Prevention

Our objective is to expeditiously move through the pick/pack/ship process for direct shipment to Fashion Fix
customers. Fashion Fix Fulfillment Center is store #689 and is located in the Saks Fifth Avenue’s main Distribution
Center at 500 Hickory Drive, Aberdeen, Maryland 21001.

Non-compliance with any Fashion Fix standard will result in an expense offset fee.

Our Vendor Standards Manual, along with additional vendor support information, is available for viewing or
downloading on our website at http://www.saksincorporated.com under “Vendor Relations”. All standards updates
and revisions are communicated via our website. It is the vendor’s responsibility to monitor our website regularly and
keep all their internal departments updated.

Ticket Requirements
All Fashion Fix merchandise should have a SKU price ticket affixed to them. Each price ticket needs to display the following
information:

Merchandise description such as product ID (vendor style # or PID), color name, and size if available
Assigned SKU and its scannable barcode
Selling retail communicated to you by the Fashion Fix buying office
For EDI-UPC vendors, please contact the buying office for in-house SKU ticket arrangements.

Hanger Standards
Fashion Fix vendor partners are required to ship certain product categories and fabrications folded, without a hanger inserted. Please
view the Hanger Matrix below.

Photo Not Matching
Delivering exactly what is advertised on Saks.com is paramount to servicing our customers and maintaining a quality shopping
experience. Often it is a specific detail that entices the customer to purchase your product; a unique button, contrast stitching, a belt.
As such, when the product in hand is even slightly different from the one seen on Saks.com, our customers return the product saying,
“This is not what I ordered”.
To set the standard, Saks expects advertising samples to be provided to the buying office as per the agreed specified date. If any
change is made to the product, your company must immediately notify the buyer and supply him/her with a corrected sample. An
offset fee of $900.00 per photo will be assessed for merchandise received different from photo sample.
Wrinkle Prevention
•
Cover each garment with a clear, clean polyethylene (dry cleaning) bag to prevent soiling or wrinkling. This is not required
unless you have concerns about soiling or the fabric has wrinkling characteristics.
•
Do not over pack.
•
Place tissue or cardboard between the layers of merchandise if necessary to prevent crushing and shifting of the contents.
•
Pack garments flat in cartons (on an SFA approved hanger for required merchandise listed under Hanger Standards.) If they must
be folded, keep the folds to a minimum.
•
To prevent excess bulk and prevent shifting, bundle hangers with string or rubber bands (not tape or wire) and alternate the way
you position the merchandise.
•
Assist the shipper by identifying cartons with “Do Not Crush” or “This End Up” if the merchandise inside is easily crushed or
wrinkled.
