Activities for the committee could include: • linking engagement to student competencies/ outcomes • choosing some organizations to partner with more closely (e.g., organizations where students current do Internships, or practice placements) • Hold departmental brown bag seminars re: engagement topics • Identify criteria for linking engagement activities to merit ratings • Discuss adding community engagement requirement to major We will be designated a standing committee.
