College Progression Requirements
The academic requirements are:
1. Maintain an overall GPA of at least 2.0 in all courses taken
2. Maintain a GPA of at least 2.0 for all courses taught by the
College of Engineering (Major GPA)
3. Successfully complete all courses within three attempts
4. Achieve grades of ‘C’ or better in all non-elective freshman
engineering curriculum courses

Last day to withdraw from a courses with a ‘W’
grade
November 3 and after
Late academic planning form approval (expect

ADVISING REQUIRED
 Advising Holds are placed on all
Electrical and Computer
Engineering students
 Students will not be able to register
until advising hold has been removed
by an advisor!

Get your Academic Planning Form
Approved
Check your Advising Appointment Confirmation email to determine if your advisor would like
for you to submit your Academic Planning Form through Niner Advisor System.
If your advisor does not indicate a preference, take your completed Academic Planning Form
to your advising appointment.

How to Complete the
Academic Planning Form
Include:
 All the courses you have completed (UNC
Charlotte courses and transferred courses)

All the courses you are currently taking

All the courses you plan to take in the Spring
2013 semester

Term and Grade must be completed on form

Form must be typed

Save form to a USB drive or your personal
computing space

This way you can easily update it each semester
and submit it to your advisor.
