The Capital Artists’ Studio Tour is an easy way for people to see art where it is made, to buy art directly from the artists, and to experience art in our community. It is FREE to tour goers and gives our local artists a chance to share their art from the intimate environment of their own studios. The Capital Artists’ Studio Tour was started in 2006 by the Center for Contemporary Art, Sacramento’s then board member, Cheryl Holben. The Tour began as a small tour of only a handful of woman artist studios. With Cheryl’s leadership and the Center for Contemporary Art, Sacramento’s support, the Tour has grown to where it is today – with over 150 participating artists, endorsing sponsors, promotional partnerships, and the attention of a continually growing art appreciating public. guide design How to Use this Guide Designed by PAIR design 916.852.9299 www.pairdesign.net Sacramento is divided into two areas for two open studio weekends.
