Welcome!
Welcome to the students, teachers, and
librarians of Huntington Park, California!
We’re happy you are using Infotopia.info and
Kidtopia.info for your research needs!
As promised, we have completed two new
resource pages on the water cycle and
landforms. Be sure hover your mouse over
each resource and read the pop up tag. These
resources range from very easy to understand,
to more in depth coverage of the topic.
Included in the resources are interactive
presentations, charts, maps, and more!

Are you using Primary Sources in your research?
You can easily find them on our Primary Sources
resource page. Here are some examples that you
might want to use with your students.
Do you know where to easily find a famous speech
to use with your classes? Search from A to Z or take
a look at the “Top 100 Speeches”.

Explore the National Archives’ Digital Vaults. Your
students can use historic images, documents, and
video to create their own posters or documentary
films.
Are your students researching the Atlantic
Slave Trade? They can read about Amistad, the
African Slave Trade and the Middle Passage,
they can view over 1200 historical images
about the slave trade , or they can read letters
and interviews from slaves, or examine at maps
and charts about slaves and the slave trade.

If you use Kidtopia.info, you know that
our “crayons” link to resources for students
from PK or K to grades 3 or 4. Do your
younger students avoid reading the daily
news because it is too difficult to
understand? Try out Kidtopia News
Resources with six links to age appropriate
news sources such as Time for Kids,
NewsRound from the BBC, The
Washington Post KidsPost, and more.
