Tannhäuser Chronology
Translation
Here is the chronology of the Tannhäuser
universe. It encompasses all of the expansions
and single packs in the game, but also
incorporates much of the text from the website
as well. In it you will find important battles
and characters, as well as outstanding dates
in the Tannhäuser-verse. In addition, this
chronology reveals some secrets of the future!

Sacre Nosfero Demon.
While the kingdom of Jerusalem was
fighting Saladin, the count Friedrich
d’Oettingen-Wallerstein is left for dead on
the tomb of the Holy Sepulchre.
Attack on the Baghdad Capitol by the
Mongolian Khans Hülegü and Möngke,
only 3 riders escape the city alive. Rachid
Al-Din talks of phantoms which arrows
could not touch. The treasure of Kalif AlMutasim located in Baghdad, was never
found.

Explorer and adventurer, Marco Polo
captures a unicorn for the sovereign of the
Crown of Aragon.

Under the aegis «In the name of God» of
Cardinal d’Alliy, Marco Polo captures the
demon made flesh, Behemoth, with the
Sacrementum of the Four Living Ones.

On July 13th, the day before the storming
of the Bastille, two individuals infiltrate
the prison like stalking wolves. They
decimate the 91 royal guards stationed
there and spirited away a young woman
of German descent who had been held in
a secret cell.
1812
The Volta Gun is lost by Napoléon during
a rout at the Russian border.
1813
The Iron Cross is created by Frédéric
Guillaume III of Prussia on March 10.
1847
February 11th, birth of Thomas Alva
Edison, future President of the Union.
1856
Birth of Hermann Von Heïzinger. July
10th, birth of Nikola Tesla in Smiljan.
1861
12th of December, the Medal of Honor
is instituted as the highest military
distinction.
1862
Gabriel J. Raines tries out the first rockets
in the battle of Yorktown in Virginia.
1863
July 4, The Confederate General Robert
E. Lee is shot by the Wolf, during the
battle of Gettysburg. Dying, General Lee
is transported to New Louisiana. There he
clandestinely enters a pact with Haiti and
the Master of ritual voodoo.
1865
The territory of New Louisiana is declared
«Dead Ground.» An impenetrable wall
is built around the territory preventing
anyone from entering or leaving.
1869
Birth of Grigori Iefimovitch in the village
of Pokrovskoïe.
1477
Death of Heinrich Reffle Von Richtenberg,
Grand Master of the Teutonic Knights. His
tomb is then lost for nearly 400 years.
1871
Karl Mauch discovers the ruins of Grand
Zimbabwe and uncovers the mythical city
of Ophir, capital of the Queen of Sheba.
1566
With the pronouncement of Nostradamus’
final sixain on his deathbed, the Archangel
Gabriel violated the 11th commandment
«Thou Shalt Not Modify The Future». Cast
out of Heaven and stripped of his Divinity,
Gabriel wanders the Earth as a grounded
creature, his own internal demons
continuing to rot his body and warp his
mind.
1877
On the night of Walpurgis, the tomb of
Heinrich Reffle Von Richtenberg, 30th
Grand Master of the Teutonic Sabbath
is discovered. The archpriests of the
Triberium Carium bring his body back to
life. In the following days, the imperial
familes all swear allegiance to this Kaiser
returned from the dead.

Trapped in the middle of the Grand
Mosque of Djeenné, the Emperor Askia
Ishaq, disciple of Orkhoss-Ardjaf the
emissary of the Lower Worlds (U-Worlds),
fell into the mouth of the wolf. He is
massacred during a ritual invocation by a
group of mercenaries. After his death, the
Songhaï empire is dissolved.

Resurgence of the secret society, The
Circle of Agartha, and its Grand Master
Hass Horbringer.
Maria Skoldowska discovers Polonium
210. Wolfgang Otto Ludwig Friederich
calls for a clandestine meeting of the
French Aristocratic Botanists. This is the
reunion of the Royal Herbarium of King
Louis XIV, which disappeared in Versailles
in 1701. As a gesture of friendship, the
Countess of Pouceverts offers them her
amulet, the mysterious Trêfle Doré.
1891
In spite of the political tensions, the
Reich, the Union and the Matriarchy are
united to create in Toungouska in Eastern
Siberia, a secret «Research center» under
the single jurisdiction of the Cerberus
Network.
1894
Extension of extraterritoriality of the
research center at Toungouska. 20km
added all the way around.
1895
The Countess of Poucevert is given a
seed of Cooksonia caledonica by Wolf. In
gratitude Professor Nicodème Prenracine
creates the «Wolf Trap.»
1896
Heinrich Schliemann digs up at Phaistos
a shelf revealing the site of
one of the hidden entrances of the
Labyrinth of Minos.
1899
Foundation of the Standard-Island
Company ltd. and beginning of the
construction of Standard-Island.
1900
The Kaiser, worshipped by his people and
uncontested master of a warrior empire,
swears to control Earth or destroy it... The
tensions between the Reich, Union, and
Matriarchy reach a new plateau.
1901
The newspaper The Tribune publishes in
its heading «Strange Happenings» the
vision of the young E.Cayce medium.
June 18, birth of Grand Matriarch
Anastasia Nicolaevna Romanova.
1902
Birth of Karl Zermann
1903
Construction of Standard-Island
complete.
1904
Grigori Iefimovitch, nicknamed the Black
Angel, becomes the personal advisor to
the Tzarina.
1905
Birth of James Curtis Edison, son of
Thomas Alva Edison.
1906
On April 10th, Standard Island is
officially disbanded. The survivors hide
the Teleautograph on the island of Jan
Mayen. Nikola Tesla, then assistant to
Edison, is contacted by the Matriarchy
due to his research on Directed Energy
Weapons. The Black Angel proposes the
Matriarchy’s full support and limitless
funding. Tesla leaves his station, to join in
St. Petersburg.
1907
Birth of Sergio Ramirez Delastillas.
1908
Impromptu arrival of an infant from the
commune Spyché within the Research
Center at Toungouska. Simultaneously
the High Security Dept. is overloaded
with psychic feedback. Soon the
entire complex is overwhelmed by a
mental vortex of exponential power.
This vortex sets off a chain reaction
with Tesla’s Supergenerator, causing a
massive explosion killing all life within
50 kilometers. The Union, Reich, and
Matriarchy blame each other for the
explosion. This marks the start of the
diplomatic decline between these
powers.

The three powers begin arming
themselves.

Birth of John Mac Neal
1911
Wolf is in residence at the fortress of
Alamut, where he guides Ikarus Faith
through his initiation tests. Faith fails the
tests.
1912
All three powers increase production
rates of their factories.
1913
Instituition of the General International
Blockade.
1914
Barely audible, a radio signal is sent from
the Research Center of Toungouska,
using the frequency Cerberus. The
Union says it is a lie, the Reich treason,
and the Martriarchy declares it trickery.
The Cerberus network questions
the authenticity of the message, but
the spark has already touched the
metaphorical gunpowder. Hostilities
break out and the war has begun.
1915
Birth of Gorgeï Volkov.
1916
October 19th, the Obscura Korps unleash
a plague of supernatural origin at the
Battle of Verdun.
1917
Edison is elected president of the Union
for the first time. Birth of Eva Krämer and
Barry Daniel Brown.
1918
The Citation Star is created on July
9th. November 3rd, French inventor
Fauchon-Villeplée unveils his electric
gun prototype. Grigori Iefimovitch
marries the Tzarina and Grand Matriarch
Anastasia.
1919
Birth of the semi-divine Irina Kravchenko.
1920
The Voïvode Project is launched in
January. Professor Rossum develops the
Universal Robots of Rossum, or R.U.R.,
while researching protoplasm.
1921
The Directed Energy Weapons Program
reopens. With the support of the Black
Angel and the Romanovs, the Primary
Magistrate of the Science Council, Nikola
Tesla, begins the Svarog project.
1922
Birth of Yula and Anna Korlïtz.
1923
The «Golden Horde» operation
commences. The sepulcher of Khan
Mamaï is searched within the ruins of
Caffa.
1924
Union explorer Frederick Albert MitchellHedges discovers the crystal skull, ShaNa-Ra, in a Mayan Temple. Birth of Irishka
Voronin.
1925
Marquis General Hermann Von Heïzinger
discovers a fragment of the Corpus
Hermeticum. The Reich begins its search
of the Obscure Mundi Axis and the 4
Cardinal Points.
1926
Eva Krämer, at the age of nine, is
discovered in a military orphanage by
Feldmarschall Komstfelder.
1929
John Mac Neal is crowned Heavyweight
Champion of his regiment.
1930
John Mac Neal distinguishes himself in

the company of Jessica Moore during
Operation Rolling Thunder.

1934
Birth of Tala Aponi, daughter of the chief
Navajo Helaku Aponi Commander of
the Seventh Signal Corps Battalion. Sir
John Edward uses Wolf as his guide in
Laos. Due to the purity of her polyphonic
voice,Irina Kravchenko is named First
Soloist of the Imperial Cathedral by
Tzarina Anastasia.
1935
Birth of Tsarevna Saskia Romanov. Irishka
Voronin enters the Matriarchy.
1936
1932 - The Citation Star becomes the
Silver Star medal on August 8th. February
22nd, the Purple Heart is created for
Union soldiers killed or wounded in
battle.
Barry Daniel Brown joins the army at
age 16. Wolf escapes a Union prison,
where he was incarcerated for trafficking
explosives off the coast of Borneo. He
embarks on the SS Venture headed for
Skull Island.
1937
The 2nd Lieutenant Anatoly Golovko
recovers the relics of St. Athanase while
infiltrating the Monastery of the Meteors.
1938
Birth of Caitlin, only daughter of Division
General of the 3rd Potomac Army Josef
Warren Lamsburry.
1939
Wolf sabotages the Reich’s lines of
communication in Mexico City, right
before the arrival of the Kaiser’s heavy
combat zeppelins. Tala Aponi’s parents
are killed by the Kaiser’s Zeppelin
bombardment. Irina Kravchenko attains
the rank Vice Bureau Kommisar under
the patronage of Prince Metropolite
Bukharha Zbornik. Viscount Oberst Gerulf
Hölstermann, commander of the 1st
Occult Division, searches Tibet for the
original text of the Kalachakra Tantra.

Tala Aponi learns the art of Iikaah from
her close uncle, Istaqa Hataalii.
October 2nd, The Tzarina creates the
badge Hero of Rugen. It is awarded to a
highly skilled combatant and only one is
awarded per battle. It is dedicated to the
mother of the Island of Rugen.
1941
1942
During the attack on Cairo, Marquis
General Hermann Von Heïzinger calls
upon the Ninth Plague of Egypt. Reich
doctor Hass Horbinger uses this cover
to sneak into the Sphinx. Lead by Wolf,
he finds one of the 4 Cardinal Points.
No member of the Reich reports this
discovery. Following the Reich’s victory,
the Obscura Korps adopt the pyramid
of Khéops as their headquarters. The
Marquis is named head of the 13th
Occult Division and founds section
Kaos. The l’Art d’Oudjat is discovered in
the forgotten sanctuary of Ombos. The
Alliance of Autonomous Aces, or A.A.A., is
founded by the «Ace of Spades.»
Otis Brown, Sergeant Major for the Union,
is killed in combat. On the night of May
8th, Inquisitor Popov hides «Special
Nagant 1920» in the munitions factory
of Fabryka Broni Radom. Karl Zermann
is the sole survivor of an archeological
dig at the mesopotamian ruins of An

1949
Najaf. His weapon was radically altered.
Now called Doom, it bears the mark of
OZO the third guardian of the Corruptor.
Von Heïzinger immediately incorporates
Zermann into the 13th Division. In
recognition for exceptional service, Eva
Krämer is elevated to Domina, by Field
Marshall Verra Komstfelder.
Surprise attack on London by Baron
Colonel Reimard Von Karloff and the
Eisen Division. The Korlïtz sisters direct
the assault on the museum. Many
esoteric objects of great value, including
the Eye of Tages and the Urn of Bet
Giorgis, were stolen away that night to
the headquarters of the Obscura Korps in
Berlin. May - Wolf breaks into the Fortress
of Berlin on behalf of Don Falcone. Inside
is the notebook detailing Karl Mauch’s
discovery of the ruins of Ophir. This
incursion made General Oberst Heinrich
Von Thôt a personal enemy of Wolf. Some
months later Wolf is seen on the side of
Grand Hierarch Katerina Hyorovitch and
Major Volkov, attacking the strengthened
monastery of Czestochowa. Sole survivor
of the massacre, Major Volkov is awarded
the honor of «Hero of the People.» The
legend of the Steel Major is born.
Yula Korlïtz begins training with Eva
Krämer at the fortress of Mergentheim.
The Close Combet Bar is created in
Autumn to reward courage, temerity, and
victory with the companies of the Reich.
On August 7th the battle for Guadalcanal
begins.
Professor Hans Kamler, of the 13th Occult
Division, begins searching the island
of Patmos. Anna Korlïtz is assigned to
protect the Countess Krankenschwarz.
The Countess, with the help of the
head of the 5th Paranormal Company,
launches an assault on the «Dead
Ground» of New Louisiana.
Barry Daniel Brown joins the 82nd Navy
Demolition Squad as a mobile artillerist.
The Bronze Star is created on February
4th, and retroactively takes effect
December 7 1931. The exploits of Sergio
Ramirez Delastillas during the battle of
Alligator Creek earn him both the Bronze
Star and Purple Heart. President Edison
brings 3 men together for the first time:
Impey Barbicane, Wolfgang Otto Ludwig
Friedrich, and Sir John Edward. They form
Cerberus Prime.
Yula Korlïtz hides Sir William Grove’s
notes on the first fuel cell. She is awarded
the Close Combat Bar. Sergio Ramirez
Delastillas accepts John MacNeal’s offer
to join the 42nd MSF. Grigori Iefimovitch
announces that Irina Kravchenko is the
divine child announced in the Kirgiz
prophesies. Irishka Voronin is named
Prime Streltsy of the telluric monastery of
Pskov-Petchory.
John MacNeal distinguishes himself by
making 5 bunker jumps on the wall of
the Telamones during Operation: White
Blizzard. Tala Aponi graduates from
the Union’s Academy of Engineering.
Journalist Polly Perkins gives Sir John
Edward the documents on Okrana Y.
Hiryczuk, detailing the location of the
Labyrinth of Minos.
On May 8th, the advances of the 5th
Paranormal Comapny are halted by what
Anna Korlïtz, in her last message, calls
the «devil.» On July 3rd, an unidentified
flying object crashes in Roswell, New
Mexico. The debris is transferred to
Area 51, where Proffessor Himmelberg
can study them further. Wolf hides the
plans for the MP 3008 in the Blohm and
Voss Shipyard. It is from these plans the
prototype «Freiheit» is created. John
MacNeal is left for dead on the island
of Modjokerto, by Eva Krämer. Working
with Professor Himmelberg’s research
and development team, Sergio Ramirez
Delastillas helps create the prototype
Drone of Gunnery or D.O.G.. Diana
Lexter, secret agent for the Union, is
recruited by the Golden Globe society
under the pseudonym Rosebud.
the island of Malta begins between
the Union and Reich. Both sides are
attempting to recover the prophecies
of E. Cayce, which date back to 1901.
September-October; The Union defeats
the Reich at the battle of Jan Mayen.
The télautographe is developed from
the Utopian technology and is adapted
to the elite soldiers. November; The
Svarog project is completed. It is
responsible for the combat armor
worn by Vetchorka, Polounotchka, and
Zor’ka. Shortly after the test trial of
the Magnifier, President Edison orders
the evacuation of air base Pingvellir.
Barry Daniel Brown is promoted to Staff
Sergeant. Early Decmber; Initiation of
«Operation Novgorod.» Late December;
The secret society, Brotherhood of the
Three Points, helps the Reich push back
Union forces in Scandinavia during the
Bergen Campaign.
Recruitment of 2nd Lieutenant Caitlin
«Hoax» Lamsbury into the 42nd MSF.
John MacNeal is awarded the Medal of
Honor, and is declared Officer of the Year
after his exploits during the attack on
the Island of Lampadosa.
Reich Doctor Orgenkorfman creates
Polonium 210, a poison intended for
use by the Blutsturm Division. April;
A cell of resistance is discovered in in
the heart of the Parisian catacombs. It
is brutally taken out.By chance, one of
the members manages to escape with
help from a double agent within the
Reich’s police force named Janus. The
sole survivor heads to the Vatican with
the strange artifact they managed to
get past the Reich. September; Marquis
Von Heïzinger discovers the amulet
of a demon servant of Nosfero on the
island of Patmos.Officer Van Der Hageer
retrieves the amulet that will be the
key to one of the four Cardinal Points
located in Central Europe. October; The
Marquis arrives in the Wroclaw region,
and heads the excavations at Castle
Ksiaz. Union Staff begin «Operation
Tannhäuser.» The 42nd Marine Special
Forces are assigned the destruction of
the four Cardinal Points. The sight HB-3,
a prototype code named «Nighteyes»
disappears from the Applied Science
Division’s laboratories. The opening of
the Cardinal point by Von Heïzinger
unleashes forces, which turn his
Stosstruppen bodyguard into a fusion
of demonic entities and human beings.
The 42nd MSF manage to collapse the
foundations of Castle Ksiaz.The Marquis
manages to flee the collapsing building
and board his Command Zeppelin. They
head for the Mediterranean. November;
For his role in «Operation Tannhäuser,»
John MacNeal is promoted to the rank of
major, by President Edison.

1951 - January; All 3 powers seek
to recruit Ikarus Faith. Their special
agents head to Alamut, location of
the Guild of Assassins. Autumn; The 3
powers take part in the conquest of
the Labyrinth of Minos to capture the
Minotaur. Beginning of the Daedalus
Campaign. Operation «Field-Ops» is
launched by Union High Command.
The attack on the Bloody Mary range is
assigned to the Airborne Destruction
Squad by Major General James Curtis
Edison. In response, the Kaiser entrusts
the defense of the coastline to the
Eisendivision, lead by Baron Colonel
Reimard Von Karloff, Grand Master of
the Lodge of Saint-Vehme.
June 6th at 6 A.M., a 6 month old baby,
named Abigail Grave, is dropped in
front of Strawberry Field Orphange in
Woolton. Police reports state the person
who dropped the baby «disappeared
into thin air.»
Yula Korlïtz is sent to Oxfordshire,
England in order to locate the entrance
to the Tomb of Uffington which houses
the secret society know as the Golden
Globe. The Applied Science Division
presents Major MacNeal with the
battery prototype BA-29c. March-April;
Reich forces conquer the former site of
Thrace, on the East end of Patmos. At
the dig site of Akhisar, they discover
the Helm of Diomedes. May-June;With
the support of Duke Tolède Alphonse
XIII, the Union forces manage to push
back the Reich frontlines north of
Toulon. Doing so ensures the help
of the Alliance of Autonomous Aces,
or A.A.A.. July-August; The battle on
