experience from Europe, the Arctic, Asia and Latin America.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
Thor Hjarsen has experience with implementation of international and
national environmental legislation and wildlife management in Denmark and
abroad.
He has practical experience with conservation work at a local level combined
with national wildlife management, development of legal frames and
implementation international nature conventions and agreements. He has
worked with eco-tourism in the Arctic and Latin America.
He has experience in capacity building, training and awareness rising for
both school children and adults.
He has broad experience with information initiatives and communication in
writing or orally. Mr. Hjarsen has planned and implemented several public
information campaigns and is the author of numerous articles on
environmental issues in Danish and foreign journals and magasines. He has
been in-house editor of several publications.
