What does it mean to you to be a veteran & work at MISD?
Serving in the military was one of the highest honors that I
have, and through my experiences in the service, I learned to
work as a team and not to focus on my own needs more than
the needs of the mission. Working with MISD at Heritage is
another great honor! Serving the students and guiding them
through some of their toughest challenges and seeing them
overcome obstacles and keeping their eyes on graduation
reminds me of my time in the Air Force and how I had people
above me, motivating me to be the best and not give up.
