Improvements to your Becker CPA Exam Review Course
On November 6th we will be releasing significant improvements to your Becker CPA Exam Review course
to better prepare you to sit for the exam in 2015. The purpose of this communication is to provide
detail on the changes that we are making.
Content Changes
Audit
We have updated four lectures within the AUD course (A1, A3, A4, and A6) and made other minor edits
and additions. Detail can be found in the pop up that you will see when you click on each updated
lecture in the course software. If you plan to take the Audit exam in 2015 and you have not started or
recently started studying these lectures, we strongly recommend that you start fresh with the new V1.1
lectures. Otherwise, you can continue to use your V1.0 version materials until 3/31/15.
When you open the updated lectures for the first time on/after November 6th, you will be prompted to
choose which material to study from. This is not a one-time choice – you can toggle between versions of
each lecture at any time. Your statistics will reflect your progress in the selected lecture. For Becker
Promise® purposes, you can combine the Performance Summary Reports for V1.0 with new V1.1 to
determine if you qualify.
If you currently have the V1.0 Audit textbook but want to study using V1.1, you can download
a summary of changes or you can request an updated version of the textbook on becker.com for a
nominal fee.
Business
We have updated four lectures within the BEC course (B2, B3, B5 and B6). If you have not started or
recently started studying these lectures, we strongly recommend that you start fresh with the new V2.0
lectures. If you have already studied the updated lectures, you can continue to use V1.0 materials until
3/31/15.

the course software. If you plan to take the Financial exam in 2015 and you have not started or recently
started studying these lectures, we strongly recommend that you start fresh with the new V1.1 lectures.
If you plan to take the exam in 2014 or have already studied the updated lectures, you can continue to
use your V1.0 version of the FAR materials until 3/31/15.

Feature and Functionality Changes
Simulation Lectures
Simulation lectures have been added to the Financial, Audit and Regulation courses. These lectures
have been designed to help you master the task-based simulations that are 40% of your score on the
Financial, Audit and Regulation exams.
Digital Flashcards
If you purchased the printed version of our flashcards you will now have access to a digital version in the
“Review” section of your course software. These digital flashcards will automatically update and may
come in handy if you have your course software open and just want to spend a few minutes drilling
home information and committing to memory the most important principles.
