offer and how much do they
cost?
Kaplan Financial distance learning is

When you purchase a distance
learning package we will:
• Offer advice on study options and
progression
• Aim to despatch your study
materials within five working
days
• Answer study questions as soon
as possible and within two
working days
• Mark your assessments within
five working days and return
them with feedback.

and customer service staff are
available at times to suit you with

What is distance learning QBR?
Distance learning QBR is the ideal
programme to further test your
knowledge and improve your exam
technique and presentation skills.
We have found these to be essential
parts of passing the ACCA exams.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
So how does it work?
• We will supply you with a number
of carefully authored questions,
all focused on the forthcoming
exam which we will email to you
approximately one month before
your exam session starts.
• We will ask you to work through
these questions in your own
time, but under exam conditions,
and email/fax your answers to us
by a pre-defined date.
• We will mark your answers and
give you feedback in sufficient
time to enable you to brush up
on any weaknesses.
How does this differ from a
classroom based QB course?
The main difference is that instead of
having to attend a Kaplan Financial
centre to attempt the QB questions,
you can answer these in the comfort
of your own home, at a time to suit
you (within the allotted timeframe).
Another difference is that you will be
given all the questions up front to
answer and submit to us for
marking. We will return these to you
with feedback once this process is
finished. On classroom based QB,
you will spend the day answering
questions which are marked by onsite markers and receive feedback
throughout the course of the day.
Can I blend my distance
learning studies with a
classroom based revision
course?
Yes, we encourage all distance
learning students to attend a
revision course at their local Kaplan
Financial centre. Distance learning
students who choose to do this will
receive a £50 discount from the cost
of their weekday or weekend revision
course.
What are your postage
charges?
We charge the following postage
rates on our Distance Learning
packages (except distance learning
QBR).
• For deliveries within the UK
- £6 per paper
• For deliveries within the EU,
Channel Islands and BFPO
- £25 per paper
• For the rest of the World
- £45 per paper.
How long will I need to wait for
my materials?
All distance learning packages (apart
from distance learning QBR) are
despatched from our warehouse,
therefore you should expect to
receive your study materials as
follows:
• UK deliveries
– Three to five working days
• EU countries, Channel Islands
and BFPO
– Five to seven working days
• Rest of the World
– Seven to ten working days.
Although we make every effort to get
your materials to you within these
timeframes, at peak times it can take
a day or two longer.

We can deliver your study materials
to anywhere in the world, just let us
know which address is the easiest
for you! This can be your work, home
or even a friend/family member. All
we ask to you do is bear in mind that
as we send all distance learning
packages by courier, in the UK this is
Parcelforce, study materials will
need to be signed for upon delivery.
I already have your study
material, can I still order a
distance learning package?
Yes, providing you have the current
edition of our study material you can
upgrade to distance learning and
benefit from our tutor support. You
will not be charged twice for any
material you already have, we will
simply deduct the cost of the books
from the total distance learning
package price.
In addition, to ensure that we meet
your needs wherever you are with
your studies, you can upgrade our
packages at any time.
I don’t need tutor support, can I
still study using Kaplan
materials?
If you decide to study under your
own steam, you can obtain the full
range of Kaplan Publishing’s ACCA
approved study materials from
Kaplan Financial distance learning.
As well as being able to purchase the
Complete Text, Exam Kit and Revision
Pocket Notes on their own, we have
bundled these together in a handy
package – the Complete Learning
System which also includes a Final
Assessment and access to
EN-gage.co.uk, all for £107 per
paper plus postage.
