LE HONG THAI
( Viet Nam, 1966 - present )
Biography: Le Hong Thai was born in 1966 in Hai Phong, a port town in
the northern part of Vietnam. After graduated from Hanoi Fine Art
College, he eagerly set about innovating the traditional technique of
lacquer and silk painting. The meditative aspect of his work appeals to
viewer's mind with its intense graphical power.

NGUYEN ANH TUAN (MAMI)
http://www.tuanmami.com
Born: September 28, 1981
I was born in 1981 in Hanoi. I have studied graphic design at Open
University and Fine Art at Hanoi Fine Art University. Other than working
on oil color on canvas paintings, I have experimented myself with many
other new methods of expressing and practicing such as: installations,
video art, conceptual art, performance art… have joined many
international art events and exhibitions such as: artist in residency in
Luxembourg, performance in Berlin, Germany, solo exhibition and live
performance in China in a residency program, international contemporary
art festival in HCM city, national contemporary art festival in Hanoi… The
thing that I concern the most is to deeply understand about the substance
of a human being’s existence. Therefore, I have a strong desire of
understanding myself more as well as the complicated connection
between individual and society. My works is the mixture of imagination
and the truth of deep thought like the border line between reality and
dreams.
