Practical Exercise 1
The logo of the company is as follow:
Perfect Company
In the animation, the upper company name moves from the left to the right and
gradually disappears. At the same time, the lower company name moves from the
right to the left and gradually disappears. The logo of the company“Perfect
Company” then emerged.
The size of the image is 3 x 2 inches and the background color is black. This size
is appropriate as a logo. The number of frames per second is 12 and it’s smooth
enough to play on a computer.
The animation contains three parts: the upper company name, the lower company
name and the company name which emerges in the centre. A layer is created for each
part. After typing the company names by the text tool, they are converted as a symbol
in the library. Keyframes are inserted at the first and at the thirtieth of the layers
which contain the upper and lower company names. The first frame and the thirtieth
frame marked the positions of the company names at the beginning and at the end of
the movement. Keyframes are inserted at the thirty-first frame and at the sixtieth
frameof the layer which contains the company name in the centre. The movements are
generated automatically by tweening method. At the thirty-first frame, the company
name is in black which is the same as the background color. At the sixtieth frame, the
color of the company name is changed to white. The emergence effect is created by
the above method and the company name“Perfect Company＂finally appears.
Test Procedure and result:
The animation is tested with Internet Explorer Version6.0 which contains a Flash
Player plug-in. The logo displayed properly and no error had been detected.
