Registration for Level 3 Basic Accelerated (F Stream) Students
1. You will receive an email from the Office of the Registrar confirming your
acceptance into the program Your McMaster ID and barcode can be found at
the top right of this letter. You will need these to initiate your registration on
SOLAR – the registration system. (Please note that some programs may
filter this email into your SPAM mail or junk mail).
2. Go to www.mcmaster.ca
3. From Quick Links at the top right of the page, go to MUGSI Login
4. Activate your McMaster ID





You will need to enable your Mac ID services, by clicking on ‘Activate
your MAC ID’
Follow the instructions entering your 7 digit McMaster Student Number,
14 digit McMaster barcode number (these numbers can be found on your
Offer of Admission Letter of your student ID card) and your date of birth
Once enabled, your McMaster email account will be ready to use on the
next business day
You will need your MAC ID and password for every MAC ID enabled
service
To access your McMaster email account, click on MUGSI Login or go use
the following link:

 select ‘Email by Google’ and login with your Mac ID
5. Check the schedule for your registration entry date on SOLAR at:

6. Locate the Master Timetable at:
https://adweb.cis.mcmaster.ca/mtt/

7. Put in the courses for which you are registering – this will tell you what day
and time each course is offered AND what section or core you need to
register in for your site. Be sure to locate the sections for your site – on the
right side under ‘NOTES’, look for McMASTER ACCELERATED STREAM
STUDENTS.
8. We suggest that you print each of these pages so that you can mock up a
timetable to minimize conflicts between courses
9. For many of the Level 3 courses (e.g. Hth Sci 2RR3), you will not be able to
choose a core section. For these courses the Nursing Program Office will be
assigning the section
10.Go to SOLAR (via MUGSI login) and register

Registration:
You are considered ‘fully registered’ once you have registered for your courses on
SOLAR and your registration has been granted academic approval.

You can check the status of your registration by accessing MUGSI and reviewing
your ‘Program & Course Summary’ by clicking on ‘My MUGSI’ and then ‘Academics’.

It is best to register for all your courses at the same time on SOLAR. Some
courses are co-requisite with others and not registering for these courses at the
same time will result in a Requisite Failure.
VERIFY and APPLY the changes on SOLAR by clicking on the buttons at the bottom
of the screen.
Timetables will be released on August 5, 2014 via MUGSI
Payment Agreement:

This site is an online financial agreement with McMaster University to pay fees. The
Payment Agreement must be submitted by undergraduate students to complete
registration. The Payment Agreement includes the student’s fees, funding,
payment plan and the method of payment.
Non Academic Requirements:
A package detailing the non academic requirements for the program will be mailed
to you between the beginning and middle of July. If you do not receive this
package please call the Program Office at:

Academic Counseling Session for Basic - Accelerated Stream:
It is recommended that Accelerated stream students attend this session.




